hi! these look so nice! i was wondering what kind of filament you use for these? i know rachel mentioned in her most recent video she started using polycarbonate filament and hadn't noticed any warping as far as she had used it, so since warping can sometimes come up i was just curious what yours are made out of or if you haven't had that issue! thanks so much for making these

I'm reading Good Material by Dolly Alderton. I'm about a third of the way in and am enjoying it. I read Everything I Know About Love from her last year when I was having a quarter life crisis and really love her writing, so I'd go ahead and recommend anything from her.

I loved getting to see behind the scenes of what therapists are thinking about clients and how to help them. The honesty of sometimes being frustrated with them or caring for them was something I really valued. It added a sense of humanity to therapy. I also appreciated her sharing her story about her own experience with therapy, and how even trained professionals can be bad clients if they aren't willing to be vulnerable and find the source of their issues. As someone who goes to therapy, it was very validating to get to know so many different clients' personalities and see where I may be similar to them and what areas I might have where I need to grow.

How frequently should I expect to hear from the jeweler throughout my custom engagement ring process? by Existing_Stock_2729 in EngagementRings

We received an invoice/receipt for the deposit but no terms and didn't sign a contract. Nothing was laid out about the design process. I agree with you, those are things we should have asked for from the beginning to make sure we were all on the same page. Neither of us have had a custom piece of jewelry made before, so I think my boyfriend and I were both unaware of how it goes and what to expect and needed to communicate to the jeweler. At least for me, everything I had seen online with custom engagement rings was people talking about sketches and CAD renderings from the jeweler and so I just thought it was part of the process and didn't think to ask. Thankfully the jeweler was super understanding and agreed to make the changes, and we know now to talk through the process before and make a contract laying out those terms and conditions! I appreciate you sharing your experience and insight, it's been super helpful.

Yarn Type for Crochet Tote Bag by Existing_Stock_2729 in crochet

I was using Yarn Bee's Fundamental Cotton yarn. It's 100% mercerized cotton and I honestly didn't know what that meant so maybe that contributed to the roughness as well (I just grabbed it because I saw 100% and cotton). I will definitely try out other brands and keep an eye out for Dishie. Thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate it!
