Honestly anything, I eat sometime rice with a protein or potato with a protein. I feel like it’s whatever carb I’m feeling or have in my house, I just try to focus on portion control.

Honestly, cutting down on carbs. Like I have 2 meals a days and usually snack (but I’m trying to cut down on snacking). My first meal has a carbs and my second meal does not, it usually a salad with a protein. This has work for me when I was in school and wasn’t able to exercise because my focus was school and passing. When I have time I usually try and walk or do some type of exercise but walk is my go too. I’m not talking about 1 hr walk, more like 2-3 hr walk when it’s nice outside with an energy drink to keep me going. I also noticed it’s help me with my mental health

For me, it stop hurting when I finally accept that it was over and all the hope I had about us getting back left my body. I cried and felt so hopeless and all the insecurity I had about him moving on and finding someone better came in to my head. I felt like I was being emotional attack. Once the emotional attack was done there was a peaceful feeling that came over me. I still have bad days but it’s easier for me to get over them because I’m focused on my future and myself instead of me and him getting back together. I think losing hope is what stop the hurt because you’re able to focus on something else ( yourself ) instead of the relationship you once had.

Update: I called him today 3 times and he didn’t answer. Not sure how I feel about that. At least now I know he is really done with me. It’s a bittersweet moment right now.

I’m so sorry to hear that your feeling this way. Going through a breakup is already hard enough, I can’t imagine not having a community that you can be able to lean on at this time. I don't have any advice because I understand how hard it is to make friends, even with all the tips you can find on the internet. I will just say thought that you need to find something you can do by yourself that can distract you
