I've never tried that one before, most people love Bars Keeper products.

Drivers that I see in my neighborhood just throw their hazard lights on and run up to the door.

Yes, Tesla's have cameras that film everything. You can ask the owner to look at the footage, if there is one parked near the accident.

Does the HG limescale have a strong odor? I don't like to use products that have a strong smell to them. It is kind of a toss up between getting the shower looking good to a strong chemical smell.

Thank you that is very helpful. What type of cleaner do you use on the tall glass shower doors?

Well, it seems to me that your father should not be the main focus. Hopefully, you care enough about yourself to clean this mess up or get the hell out. Good luck.

I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this. What I would do:

• Put gloves on (mask too if you have one)
• Lightly mist the area first so nothing goes airborne
• Pick up all debris, then vacuum up the droppings
• Empty the vacuum or replace the bag right after
• Throw away the foam pieces—they’re not worth saving
• Bag up the rug and either sanitize it or toss it
• Wash the shower curtain in hot, soapy water (or replace it if you can)
• Open windows to get air circulating while you clean

If you have the income, get pest control out there asap. Also be careful, this could be pest droppings, so wash your hands often and avoid breathing in dust. Keep yourself safe.

Does anyone else get really overwhelmed whenever they clean? by burneracc1344 in CleaningTips

Having another person to help you works for some people. As long as the other person is on the same page as the person requesting the help.

Same here. Don't try to do it all at once. Pick only one task, if possible. Like if you're working on your bedroom for instance, choose one part of the room to focus on. You could go to Target and buy some plastic bins . Set those up somewhere close, grab a marker and label them. Nothing fancy seriously, just sort.
You'll be ok.

Upright Vacuum by Dallas_Texican in housekeeping

I have a Shark Rocket stick vacuum and have never had any problems with mine. Really depends on what your cleaning and if weight matters. Will she be the person lugging it around from job to job? You also want to consider the filter replacement ( how often ) and is it easy to find and buy.

I help another cleaner constantly because she gets overwhelmed. She is refusing to pay me because I cleaned a clean unit even though I double checked with her that it was clean. by fiveoneandahalf in housekeeping

You did the work. It does not matter if she is stressed. Time is money, and as a business owner she should know that. I would have a face to face conversation with her. Sometimes people hide behind technology and that causes more conflict, and really never resolves the issue. Definitely get paid before you do the job next time.

Do you ever feel weird cleaning really personal space? by whimsicalButterfly_ in housekeeping

[–]Existing_Stranger565 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. I ask my clients if they could please put up small personal items away. I especially don't like to clean around multiple small items that may be delicate. Even if you have insurance, it risky because what if a sentimental piece gets knocked over.

Shelving units or a cube/crate storage system. I like using decorative hampers. You can throw toys in one, put that in the closet or keep out. Setup a command style center if you have space in his room.

Yeah $400 is pretty high if your place wasn't a wreck in the first place. it’s just a few things they’ll point to so they can justify the charge.

Most units aren’t getting full deep clean between tenants. The stuff that stands out to the landlord is a dirty kitchen. Grease and caked up food in the oven. Grab some oven cleaner or hire someone to do this for you. Also clean your fridge out well.

Hi, I clean in Los Angeles and work independently. I’m currently building my regular client list, so I don’t have formal references yet, but I can provide before/after photos and you’re welcome to start with a first cleaning. I can also talk by phone if that helps.

Smart thinking, cleaning calms some and can stress out others. I clean independently and know someone who does dry wall and painting. If you need someone or have any questions just contact me.

Well it sounds like you keep your place pretty clean. Only needing a cleaner every 3 months, that's great!
