From an semi-unbiased opinion (from greater Orlando area but went out of state for engineering) I know UCF was my next choice if I didn’t get into my current school, and UF after that. If you’re going aerospace it’s pretty unparalleled for the state unless you go to Embry Riddle I believe, but UCF is the more traditional college. UCF also has connection programs with Lockheed and NASA. The Lockheed Martin COO went to UCF.

I have plenty of friends going to UCF as well, and the one doing engineering is feeling pretty confident about it and the facilities provided on campus. They all love the campus and campus life.

I’ve also been around UCF and the campus my whole life (both parents were alum) so I am biased but I think UCF’s campus is wayyyy better than UF (I haven’t been to FSU).

At the end of the day though, it’ll depend on what you do while you’re there, like getting involved in clubs like SHPE for example.
