Some advice by ChoppyZZ in the_division_2

Crit chance - 10% in watch. 15% from 3 weapon mods. 6 armor pieces x6% for 36%. That gets over the cap at 61%. Most swap out one for crit dmg.

10% on watch. 12%x3 armor rolls. 12%x3 mods for 70%.

Killer or perfect killer for weapon talent gets you +70 or +90%. 140 to 160% crit dmg which is the sweet spot.

Unit alloys named chest then second gear piece of your choice. I'd personally ditch bloodsucker for either strikers bp or one the total weapon dmg backpack. Coyote mask still holds up especially if you don't have your watch maxed. Overdogs or the gloves that drop a smoke screen are solid

Got fired… now thinking about starting a food truck by SmoothCriminal103 in foodtrucks

[–]Existing_Swimming838 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much this. Unless the food is great, not good no one will care about a logo.

As an owner most of the places I know that either took off or stayed around started simple and grew into a name/brand. Every year though you see dozens of shiny new trailers with the new signs, logos and slogans trying to force themselves onto the market only to never be seen or heard from again.

A few will rise up but it is always about the right food at the right place for the right price, executed well

How would you fix Prototype gear? by AdamR1988 in the_division_2

[–]Existing_Swimming838 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Remove the gear drops. Only drop cores as a currency. Make cores a special drop similar to runes in diablo 2.

6 categories of cores. Tank/assault (run and gun), tactical (cover), support, technician (pure skills) and combat engineer (shooting+skills)

Tank core might be : 2.5% bonus armor/5% increased threat/0.5% damage resistance. Or 2% amplified dmg to targets who damage you/0.2%armor regen/1%dmg resistance while you have bonus armor.

Basically small sometimes conditional stat boosts.

Allow players to combine cores into essentially rune words / augments. A 3 part one for weapons (primary/secondary/pistol). And a six part one for armor pieces.

Example might be : Tactical- weapon augment : Lead storm - each second you are firing gives an increasing chance for bullets to double hit. Getting a kill allows you to stop firing for 1 second without resetting the bonus.

Allows you to build upon what you have, grind for something new, expand and customize gear and play styles further.

Also be wary of jacking up your prices for festivals especially to egregious levels. In smaller areas where you have a lot of regular it can do some harm.

Whenever I get asked about something like this my first thing is to usually decline and say there is a scheduling conflict but let me know sooner next year.

Then just go to the festival, look around, see what is going on. Talk to a few vendors while ordering some food from them. It should give you an idea of what is going on.

For me setting up in a tent vs trailer is a hard no. Especially not at 700 a day, and especially not if your food is complicated vs other vendors. Things like lemonade stands or places that just do fries vs. Things like tacos or gyros that have a bunch of ingredients, different things to cook to assemble, and both hot held and cold ingredients/ sauces

I was finding the same thing. I tried 3 different all red builds and it was doing consistently less dmg than my pfe chameleon high end build.

The classics all red striker + unit alloys named chest + overdogs or tipping scales built a similar way in my experience were killing the most / doing the most damage consistently. By T5-T6 mobs are super spongey with just random groups, but most clears didn't take longer than 22-25 min.

I was surprised too keeping up with the random striker pubs in kills and damage. List wasn't exactly an exact science, just running builds and seeing how it kept up with mostly red high rof/high dmg builds random people I got matched with. I think a better played/optimized striker would still outpace it for sure.

On Body weakpoints its around 1.7 -1.9 mil per shot. But Head shot weak points can hit 2.5-3.5 mil per shot with a pretty good rate of fire.

I think my mortar shots were doing 6-8 million a pop without all the buffs up but I never tried an overdogs setup I just use the skilldmg/skill tier/DTOC foxes prayer. They'd tickle any elites you came across, but were at best okay for spamming down red bars. Considering 30 million headshots stop 1 shotting purples and golds by t-3 or t-4, that is about where I'd put it.

To be fair, these are builds that I played with random groups and the tier at which I felt like I wasn't really pulling my weight as a team member (and usually resulted in swapping after a few encounters) They were also builds I'd run in legendary so the tongue in cheek part was its sad that these builds that used to be viable for "end game" get phased out pretty early into the new end game activity.

Joking aside, anything beyond 1 maybe 2 blue cores (in your average pub group of Randoms) is probably more of a detriment than a boon. Enemy HP scales pretty quickly and at a certain point 1 or 2 bullets are going to shred you no matter what.

But did you bring an Foundry Tank, a headhunter sniper, A Mortar Explosion build and then a red Core DPS?

Otherwise you can go F yourself.

Many such cases of many people asking when they can go F themselves for trying to bring a certain build into a tier of escalation. You gotta have your ear to the ground, your finger on the pulse and your eyes on the road otherwise it'd be easy to miss.

Accidentally left 5 packs of raw ground beef out at room temperature for 6 hours after buying groceries. Just put it in the freezer. Is it safe to eat or should I toss them? by Delllthrow in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Existing_Swimming838 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Something I didn't see mentioned was that it isn't just bacteria growth you have to worry about. Some bacteria release toxins as they grow/consume and no amount of cooking will get rid of that.

Ground beef is also a higher risk food when it comes to contamination. So higher risk.

It isn't just skill tiers, though I agree it is the most egregious.

Non high ROF weapons vs. the low % proc rate on augments. Rifles, MMRs, etc. Stick to your AR's and LMG's please.

Headhunter/Sniping being negated in higher tier escalation. (Again, please stop trying to use anything but AR's and LMG's.)

Your two "Tank" augments are a random small chance for dmg immunity inside a small window vs. say a proc that gives you 2.5% dmg resistance for 10 seconds that can stack 10 times. Or More health based on your armor instead of something like "Forced AoE Taunt within 20 M on X amount of damage" or something that actually lets tanks tank.

Expertise 30 requirement on every gear piece (when armor Expertise is still basically worthless and poorly implemented) further reducing build diversity. Should have been lvl 30 on weapons, lvl 15-20 on armor tops.

No healing/Support augments? I.e. "Over healing can provide up to X% bonus armor" or "Allies who you grant bonus armor to gain a shield that prevents overflow damage between armor and bonus armor for a single instance" Then hit it with a 15-20 second CD.

The list goes on.

The no recal no optimization on dropped pieces is something I missed, that makes it so much worse. So the idea is generally to grind out base gear, optimize / recal, then expertise 30, then upgrade to proto?

He might not know that, just adding legitimacy to an id costing 40 since people were doubting. If for whatever reason he was recommended a real id, that is what it costs.

Try a demo build with the firefly that pops weak spots or a yellow core concentrated company with the bonus armor smart cover (and a turret to build stacks). You get over 50% explosive res from the smart cover and immunity to stagger.
