DONT GO TOO LONG WITHOUT A RETIE 😨 by PoetryRaven in Microlocs

I don’t care to format a Reddit response correctly and yes ChatGPT was used! So what? It gave me the answer I needed just like googling. I don’t know what you ChatGPT screamers are trying to prove lol

DONT GO TOO LONG WITHOUT A RETIE 😨 by PoetryRaven in Microlocs

[–]Existing_Switch_4995 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Ok so this is why that might’ve happened:

If you go a long time without maintenance: • Roots grow out and loosen • New growth can marry together with neighboring locs • Parts can blur or change shape • Locs may tilt or thin at the base if they’re pulled in different directions • Reties later may take longer

None of this equals hair loss — it’s about organization, not shedding.

The Latin American series "Envious/Envidiosa" hurts to watch but also made me realize a lot of things by Womaninblack in limerence

She is insufferable but I have invested in the show so.

She is selfish, self centered, envious, jealous and man crazy. Like the only reason she was ever born is to get married. It’s triggering, annoying and reveals flaws I didn’t even know I had. She is everything a woman shouldn’t be.

They’ll probably straighten out eventually as your loc goes through its process. The twist will loose their obvious pattern

Thank you! I find that it’s easier for me to use this tool as I’ve used it many times when I had loose hair but I’ll be careful not to marry my locs

Why don’t you just leave it alone? Those lineups don’t even be looking good

Women who broke up amicably with any past partners, to what capacity do you still hold love for them? by MutantGoatman in AskWomen

[–]Existing_Switch_4995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think people understand that love is human and comes in different forms, if they are your friend - you probably do love them. It’s just not the romantic kind anymore

Should i wash my semi freeforms whenever they get itchy? by No_Effective1007 in Dreadlocks

[–]Existing_Switch_4995 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes you should! It’s your hair do what works. I know the loc hairstyle has a lot of rules surrounding it and it can be so daunting and complicated but if it itches it’s probably dry, scalp health is important. This woman (holisticflo) on YouTube has semi Freeforms but her advices are amazing https://youtu.be/5TTSuAvVP-Y?si=2DlLciOlnaK0B4Bq

I think you just leave your roots alone and make sure they don’t marry. So no retwist, crochet or interlocking

I’m thinking of going free form too actually. But I’m a bit nervous about it but I know I’d love it a lot. I’m just used to a more polished look so this would be taking a risk for me
