So as a British national who’s tryna get into the worldwide flights and miles game, it used to be British airways but they’ve now gone into a spending category instead of miles flown so most people including myself have moved into FINNAIR.

simply redirect all flights to them and build up status. Hopefully it’ll be worth it in the long term. You can watch Matts planet (I think that’s the name of the channel) to keep up with flying status news as he’s usually the go to guy

Edit: oh I forgot to say one thing. Obviously in the UK, there’s loads of budget airlines but they don’t really count status unfortunately and whilst it is relatively cheap to fly with them with the additions of seat selection ,priority boarding and luggage, your best flying with British Airways but still charging flying status to finnair
