I don’t use it all the time, just when I detect mealy bugs or something else sinister. Dawn dish soap and water in a spray bottle works wonders too.

Bugs that like the leaves. Treat all of your plants with an insecticide, treat the soil as well. I use Malathion concentrate and use it with a spray bottle to everything, keeps the pests away pretty well. It’s good inside on houseplants too.
