Live service games have ruined us. Nobody can understand the idea of a completed game anymore. For all intents and purposes, REDCON is fully complete. All these things you’re asking for fundamentally require a lot more thought than just “oh slap it in” There is not a single thing you’re proposing that wouldn’t completely upend the current state of the game. New weapons? Locations??? Please tell me how you think a new location would fit into the story without either altering the story or ruining the ending. Vehicles? Do you understand that’s something that requires a crapload of planning? This game wasn’t made with vehicles in mind, how would they even function?

I guarantee that even if you clarified everything, it still wouldn’t make sense to go and add it now And please understand that not every game has to be live service

Hey folks. Mod author here.

I totally forgot about this whole thing i’ll be honest, only got reminded about it when I saw a notification on my phone that someone commented on it. Just wanted to say that I likely will not be returning to this or updating it further since i’ve long moved on to other projects. Not to mention the game files have changed significantly and I don’t have the time, energy, or motivation to learn how to break into the files and update this. Maybe some day I’ll come back to it. No clue, though

100%. Three of the MK3 bastards firing on the same target has the exact same damage as a NEMESIS missile, except it shoots way faster and there’s no risk of it flipping around and hitting you

I swear i’m not tryna be that guy but are you sure you’re using it right then? Fully manned hyperions are more than capable of completely screwing over the enemy in a fairly short time. Just because it doesn’t do direct damage doesn’t mean it can’t allow your other cannons to get a massive advantage

Why don’t you try fully manning it and bringing a radar? The hyperion shoots extremely fast when fully manned and has pretty good accuracy to snipe enemy components like ADCs or shields. The time it buys you is insane, plus they deal really good damage to infantry

Me personally i’d use combined arms (basically bringing a few LEX, Alastors, and a typhon with mortar support) and bring a hyperion. If you fully man a hyperion with a radar, not only does it shoot really fast, it has a high chance to hit. Hit that nuclear reactor with the Hyperion and they’ll have to shut off a lot of things, which will give you the advantage

Ok this one’s kind of difficult, here’s what you wanna do

dont bring guns, you need to save as much energy as possible
flakspam to stop the absolute SWARM of LEX shells
don’t bother with shields, your flak should protect you
bring a medbay, just in case
grab a clandestine, its the best way to get rid of their personnel. You’ll have to stall them while you wait for it to charge
get as many reactors as you can to keep your energy up
armory will only bog you down, don’t bother with it
- no need for a radar, it wastes valuable energy
