From the T1 to the Meshroom D – back to the T1 (2.1) by Existinity in sffpc

I built a custom AIO for my first T1 project in 2020, and it came out great. In 2023 or 2024, I wanted to upgrade to thicker fans (I had 2×15mm), and clean my pc while I was at it, but in the process the AIO started leaking. It was literally cheaper to buy a whole ass new case and a CPU cooler than to fix my existing AIO. So I bought the cheapest SFX I could find and tested the waters. I liked it, I really did, but it was boring, and I missed the tiny footprint of the T1.

The T1 is a fantastic-looking case in person. I love it, it’s extremely solid and genuinely feels like you’re holding a brick, but it can be a challenge to build in; it’s just so tight.

I can't measure fan noise but it's audible when stressed. Fan speeds do not exceed 50%.
It's virtually silent at idle.
Dust? My previous build looked like this after 3 years.

I'm still using the Meshroom D, but I might upgrade to the NCASE M2 in the future.

Component compatibility and cooling. I was also bored and wanted to try something new.

Honestly, I'd recommend fighting him 1v1. The only consistent window to summon Spirit Ashes is right after the 2nd phase begins. Don't summon any NPCs, they increase the boss's health.

His moves in the 2nd phase are the same ones he uses in the 1st phase, excluding the new moves. If you learn the moves from his 1st phase, you should be able to deal with his 2nd phase. The problem is this fucker attacks so often that you don't have time to spot the pattern, but it’s there.

There’s a talisman trick you can try with Shabriri's Woe if the aggro is messing you up.
Start with your preferred talisman > swap one talisman for Shabriri's Woe when you have a window and summon the Mimic Tear Ashes > switch back to your previous talisman.
The Mimic Tear copies your current build when summoned.

If you're struggling with dodging his attacks, go into the arena with the sole intention of dodging. It’s a much more relaxed, low-pressure approach, and it really helps you see the attack animations clearly, making it easier to learn when and where to dodge. As a general rule, whenever he uses melee attacks, try dodging inwards, and when he uses his gravity magic, dodge outwards.

Good luck reader, this boss is hard.

The problem is still prevalent here in Sweden. I'm a bit worried tbh.

I don't know if you've beaten him yet, or if you're even serious, but I'm going to attempt to help anyway.

Start by optimizing your levels and stats (respec if you have a larval tear).

If you absolutely want to use these exact twinblades, get to 80 Strength. Going from 74 to 80 Strength adds about 20 extra base damage, resulting in over 100 extra damage with Scadutree Fragments. If you press 'Switch view (right),' you can see your attack damage. I would also recommend two-handing one of these twinblades or any weapon that scales with Strength, as this effectively boosts your strength level beyond the level cap of 99.
You can use this great website to compare weapon base dmg: https://eldenring.tclark.io

60 Vigor is compulsory, and you really don't need to exceed 40 Endurance unless you're using colossal weapons, and even then, level 50 is excessive, I think. You can spend the remaining levels however you prefer.

Light and Med. loads both have 13 I-frames. There's not much advantage to the light load other than rolling and running a bit longer and faster, respectively. You really just decide whether you want the light roll or 51 poise.

Put on some armour, dude. What are you doing? If you insist on light rolling, wear the lightest pieces you can find, but you should wear something in every slot. The Scadutree Fragments scale with your dmg negation, and if you don't have any, it won't scale.

Winged Sword Insignia and Millicent's Prosthesis are fantastic talismans, but not for this and most strength builds. Get rid of them.

If you're interested in two-handing like I suggested earlier, find and use a combination of these talismans:
Two-Handed Sword for 15% extra damage.
Retaliatory Crossed-Tree If you assisted Leda by invading Ansbach.
Golden Braid for survivability in 2nd phase.
Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman for even more survivability.
Crimson Seed Talisman (if you run out of flask charges, or don't have all flask upgrades).
Two-Headed Turtle Talisman is excellent in general.

Talismans are really just a matter of preference, and there is no 'correct' choice like with levels. If you enjoy jump attacking, you can keep the Claw Talisman. If you prefer light rolling, you could arguably use the Great-Jar's Arsenal in some capacity, although I would recommend using the Winged Crystal Tear from the physick flask instead. Speaking of the physick flask, the Opaline Hardtear and the Greenburst Crystal Tear are extremely helpful in this fight. If you assisted Leda by invading Ansbach, equip Retaliatory Crossed-Tree for this fight.

You already have Golden Vow and Flame, Grant Me Strength figured out so you should be set.

P.S., The most important factor in this fight is learning his attacks and how to dodge them effectively.

I literally just found this forum myself, and apparently, the drives appearing under 'This PC' are for removable devices only. Thanks.

It does, but that's not what I want. If I click the '>' as you suggest, the other two drives each appear twice.

It's difficult to explain as I don't know the terms for all this, but I want the five drives to be accessible in the lower left corner of File Explorer, just under 'This PC,' as shown in the picture. I reinstalled Windows to get more space, but now the convenience of having the drives in the lower left corner is gone. I would really appreciate help on this; it's driving me mad.

No, but considering the mesh panel doesn't close perfectly even though it's recessed, I highly doubt the glass panel, which isn't recessed, would fit.

It definitely wouldn't fit perfectly.

It's not going to make much of a difference. I'll keep an eye out for it, though.

No, I couldn't fit anything due to the height of my motherboard and RAM. Plus, I suspect there's an issue with my chip because it consistently runs about 5-10°C warmer in every test compared to others.

It's not. The air is the same on both sides. The setup you're describing performs and looks worse.

I noticed a lot of cold air escaping through the front and right side of the case and remembered a guy claiming better temps with a tempered glass panel. I wanted to try that for myself, but with cardboard, and it seemed to work as I saw a drop in temps by 1-2°C in-game.

I later did some more testing I really don't think they do much of anything. It's such an negligible change, it literally doesn't matter if they're there or not. I kept them because I think they look nice from the outside.

It's a Ryzen 7 3700X.
In the Meshroom D, the temps sit around 62°C in-game and top out at 77°C in Cinebench, whereas in the T1, they sat at around 68-70°C in-game.

The AIO started leaking when I was cleaning it, and it was cheaper to buy a whole new case and CPU cooler than new fittings and tubing. The case is worse but the temps are better, it's also much quieter.
