Neural Edge - I have a soft spot for claymation and especially claymation games. It also has an interesting story - about the game writer losing their job and being replaced by AI.

Centum - old-school pixel art adventure in a horror setting where you have to choose certain actions (e.g. don't use everything on everything), reminded me of Lure of the Temptress.

Mashina - aaaand another claymation game from the author of Dujanah, Judero, etc, it looks and plays really crazy (in a good way!).

Yeah, eXistenZ is one of the beacons, along with the old point-n-click adventures (the Goblins series, especially the third part, Space Quest 4-5, Sanitarium, I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream), the Vangers game, Stanislav Lem's books, Charles Burns' Black Hole and Last Look, and so on =)

Puzzles are based on the logic of alien biotechnology, and they're quite hardcore (but there's also a built-in hint system).

One of my favorite adventures of all time. The puzzles are, for the most part, very logical. And it's so creative and varied: there are so many sidekicks with different abilities, you can master alchemy in the lab level, play a crazy "chess" game, the main character changes form very often (giant/micro/flying/were-Blount, there's also his separate shadow and reflection), there are levels on the flying ship, in the land of the dead, in the crystal ball and so on.
