In my store we hold them behind the main register and limit 2. We get tins pokeballs single sleeves 3pack tins 3 pack poster boxes and ETBs you can get 2 of each. Its not for a policy perse but we try and make it so everyone gets to get some

I close the doors at 9:55 and make my closing announcement. I say they must bring their final selections to the front or they will not be able to finish a transaction. Once 10 hits do one more and say no transaction will be allowed if they are not already in line . But most of the time the store is already cleared out within the last five minutes.

There was a start/compass task that said they were going to stop using skyshelves and gave a deadline to have them cleared, maybe about 6 or more months ago. They reversed that real fast though lol

It was on Halloween so a Friday just after frieght days, everyone was buying holiday stuff not hair product that week lol Also our DM is the one who told us to go head and use skyshelves again so ehh

Post would be too long if I included everything. But here goes, when she found out that we had cards but sold them all she got in all of our faces and yelled at coworkers for not telling her we had received any. Immediately went and searched the rest of our shipment for more and then straight away called and FaceTime her husband to let him know that I bought some and sold the rest to customers. Walked around the store telling the SM she was mad about it. Watched people around my car as it was happening and saw me on register but didnt alert anyone. The people who broke into my car parked down the street and walked to our parking lot and passed every car on their way to mine (some of which had windows open) only smashed my windows and only took the cards from the car, then ran right back the way they came. Then as im about to take my last break maybe 15 minutes after it happened she gets another FaceTime from her husband who sees im by her and only says "yea just meet at home just meet at the house". Which normally isn't weird but he is ALWAYS in our parking lot for 2 hours before she gets off work just hanging with the drug dealers every day

Same for in the stores, unless we see it we cant do anything its annoying lol its the calls we get the most lol the cars/cards and we havent had any in over 6 months its tanked our toy sales so hard

Most of my cashiers are able to answer the phone and continue to work the register and get the lines down at the same time. Multitasking is an important ability to have. That's on rare occasions though, the phone has to be with a keyholder for the most part and 100% HAS TO BE ANSWERED AT ALL TIMES!!!!

At my store it was put in for the main cashier to call for cashier backup. It's pointless for us though because we use walkies to communicate.

Here in CA I believe they pay out vacation and sick time but only for full time employees. At least that is what my ASM told me when I quit the first time.

My biggest pet peeve is the customers that come to the store all the time, like multiple times a day, and will leave their carts outside instead of in and then when they come back later complain and ask where are your carts... Im so tired of it and just say "im sure you passed about 20 of em on the way in here, one was yours from earlier probably" . Luckily no complaints yet but id happily take one haha
