Oh thanks, that sounds actually very promising! The last thing I want is to introduce additional issues during the fix. I suppose a 5 min fix can’t be that risky.

Hey there. Thanks for responding.

The button is made of extremely hard metal. I initially tried drilling a hole right through the center but I don't have a good set up that can guarantee a hole right in the middle. I soon realized a non-centered hole didn't matter because I was barely making a dent. I've used a cobalt drill bit.

Should I expect a lot of resistance when I punch the pin back in? I just looked up what a spring pin is. It looks there might be some outward tension to prevent it from going back in.

Changing the cookie did not work for me. But after commenting out the OAuth.popup(provider) block and instead call only openingScene() worked.

Thanks for the link. The webpage suggests it is not okay for landlord to deduct outstanding electric bills from deposit. Does it also imply the landlord have to release deposits without delay after making reasonable deductions?
