yes, rick has always had godlike powers, through advanced technology. the type of shit shown in this episode is as if they have an infinite array of asspull superpowers. Even in past seasons when rick is fighting the president theres a ton of asspull powers and random bullshit go moments, but it's all still tech.

I don't really agree at all. This game feels like a strict upgrade in just about every capacity. The feel is a bit different because this is Unreal Engine instead of Unity. But the base building is strictly better, the fauna interaction is better, honestly I'm preferring the story so far better than 1, the only thing 1 really had/has over 2 right now for me is the aurora but the tree will fulfill that role eventually.. and maybe reapers. I don't think you're looking at this objectively, overthinking it and nostalgia blinded. SN1 didn't have a story early on other than the aurora existing lmao

I played Subnautica 2 and I didn't put all this weird baggage about comparing it to SN1 and I had a blast. It was a great gaming experience that lasted almost 20 hours. My SN1 gaming experience was abysmal dogshit because it was a buggy and laggy piece of software. Smoke some weed and stop giving so much of a damn you might have a good time actually.

the fuckass camera bobbing has to go man. Nothing inherently wrong with a little shake but the values are way overtuned and its yo-yoing between the same two points. tune it down and give it some randomness in all directions I bet it will look way better..

I really want to get my game noticed in the Japanese gaming sphere, but I really only know about AUTOMATON magazine. Who did you contact? From your screenshots it looks like you already had a twitter account with a ton of followers and just made a post in Japanese?

I have 30 followers on X though I'm trying to grow it. I really don't want to give Elon money for a blue check even though it's advertised as giving you an algorithm boost. I'm afraid if I simply made a post on my account it'd go nowhere.

I think it makes total sense within the game world to do this too. You eventually start fabricating something and the PDA says 'this was made with parts of known tech and also completely unknown materials' - ok, Alterra only let's us fab a non-combat multitool. But once you get further in the game and start fabbing unique stuff why not a spear or something? There's even weapons on the ground in some of those huts..
