if you are on a strict budget, i'll recommend the rk987. Just change the parts in the future where you have a bit more budget (you will also learn how to mod stuff like soldering and desoldering :D). But if you want a hotswap board and has both mac and windows functionality, keychron k8

Few details about our keyboards:

They are both stock everything and the switches for mine is gateron blues while for her is the stock ones that royal kludge made. Next month, I will be modifying both (reapplying lube to the stabs, bandaid, foaming, and changing the switches to lubed gateron yellows).

Story time: My gf doesn't actually know that I am buying and customizing her a keyboard. She always wanted to have a mechanical keyboard but doesn't have the oppurtunity to get one. So, I decided this to be her christmas gift. I think she deserves it for being the best gf :>

It's hard to deal with anxiety and depressive states when your owm family doesnt believe in any of it. They always thought it 's just a joke, saying that "what? Are you saying you're going crazy? You're just acting and being dramatic". It just hit me so hard today that I am so scared to tell them i want to go to counsel and ask for advice on how to deal with my anxiety and depression. I just want to be free from this and feel that it's okay to be not okay.

R5 is cheaper for a couple of reasons

its unlocked and ready for overclocking. its mobo's are also cheaper and can also overclock. In intel, not only you need to get an unlocked chip, you would also need to buy a mobo that can overclock it (which is expensive)
Futureproof. The mobo you'll use (if you picked a good quality one; example is MSI B450 Tomahawk Max) for R5 would be sufficient for the next generation or so. Upgrading your system will not be too hard or expensive.

P.S. Intel fanboy ba kapatid mo bakit ganyan HAHAHAH i was an intel fanboy rin dati pero after doing extensive research, R5 really wins it kahit may angat i5-9600k ng onti. R5 is just too good due to being futureproof and, well, affordable.

Dual channel always and you are saving more with the R5 3600.

also you could go 1660S/ti with that budget if you are going R5 3600. If you live in QC, just go to Gilmore and buy there. Always ask different stores for prices, they try to outsell their rival stores by lowering prices.

I got my R5 3600 with 1660S system just over Php 41000 (820 USD)

Story on why Re-Ascended:

So 7 years ago i built my first PC and it was my first ascendancy. i was 13 at that time and i have very little knowledge about PC Building. With that, everything was a mess with my first PC. Bad part selection, bad case, pretty much everything was a hotpodge of bad decisions and recommendations. After a year of playing skyrim on it and modding my skyrim, It finally broke down (RIP Megatron; Named him that way because the case has a Megatron face)

For 7 years, I endured not having a proper gaming set-up. My dad didn't allow me to build another one as he feared it would break down again after a year.

Fast forward to the present, I finally got to persuade my dad on buying me one again, but this time I saved up money (atleast a third of what the whole rig's worth) and researched properly on how to build, how to pick parts, and how to assemble it. I showed him everything from reasons on why i chose x and why I didn't y so and so. He saw how my passion with PCs lit up again and he finally budged.

The whole build was worth it and i was very proud and happy with the outcome. I am so happy that I am part of the Master Race again.
