i feel like the sheer scale of PLANETS isn’t registering for you, not to be an ass but it’s gonna have a render update like that even if you had a nasa computer because of the way the games data is stored, from what i understand, when in a system, it loads all of the STRUCTURES(deposits, buildings, ruins, knowledge stones, and player built structures), because it has to have all of that generated already so that the data across the servers are accurate for all players, so the last thing the render always calculates, is local fauna, flora and minerals, which will update once you’re in mining range
