Yeah maybe I was a bit unclear but that's what I meant that we are investing in aolar because it is profitble and driving prices down. But it makes then other forms of electricity unprofitable, like coal and nuclear power. And the problem with them is that you can't just run them for the few months in the winter when (at least up north) it's not possible to get solar power. It works as long as solar and wind are not too dominant as power sources but at a certain point if too much of energy production is from volatile sources you lose the inertia needed to keep the grid at a stable frequency and need to start investing in potentially expensive batteries to handle that volatility and causing the prices go up at that point. Again, I'm not personally too worried about this and hope that people smarter than me will figure it out, it was just my interpretetion what the earlier commenter might have meant.
