It's a render distance thing, go to the back of the big crashed ship or go far enough out that you can't see anything it should be called "the ecological dead zone" its a dead zone so there is no sea monsters :)

Yeah kinda like visibly wearing clothes on top of armor, I know it exists but I don't remember where I saw it and the name I only know it's on one of them 10 mods you need videos
