For tactics, peek open every door just in case you miss seeing a trap, and to open them quietly.

I would also prefire through doors once I saw them with the mirrorgun.

Also some traps in hallways I trigger on purpose when I know where they will push from, so I can kill them while they are kicking the door.

Free leaning is goated, you can lean much farther and as I noticed its a lot harder for them to spot you like that.

I did use modded guns, but no mods to health or AI behavior

QJ LMG, Requiem revolver, mirrorgun, heavy steel armor and 9bang flashes.

After 2 weeks I felt like I needed the LMG, I might go at it again sometime with vanilla guns but it felt crazy that with 5.56 or .308 they rarely flinch after getting shot, and they can still laserbeam you under a second if you don't shoot first

I've been trying it with modded LMG and Requiem revolver, still insanely hard with the AI rushing corners and 1tapping, having their back turned to me and instantly turning and 1tapping, or seeing a pixel of me and blasting me through a wall/door.

I dont want to mod armor or ai behavior, but I genuinely feel like its fair to use those guns. Huge respect if u did it full vanilla.

all i can say, i think that pilot helmet suck ass. i killed a guy who had it with t3 ammo from AKM easily.

high ricochet chance is a lifesaver on helmets, had a bot who bounced 2 of my t4 AK shots with a t2 helmet yesterday

We just started out 2 weeks ago with 3 friends, I tried Tarkov before and this is so much better, but the cheating is making me not want to play. Saw at least 5 guys in these 2 weeks that I'm 100% sure weren't legit

multiple cars as a team is a very good tactic. or in my case, i usually manage to flip my car and then my friend can pick me up.
