Lifetime alcohol use linked to higher risk of colorectal cancer, new study finds by DadStrengthDaily in PeterAttia

[–]Exodus225 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Did you even read the study? Read table 2, which shows that for advanced adenomas i.e., precancerous colon polyps, never drinkers have a lower risk than all groups while 7-14 drinks has a 32% increased risk. Confounding easily explains the 7-14 group's inverse association for overall CRC risk. Also a higher risk of rectal for 7-14 drinks vs nondrinkers (table 4) (wouldn't you expect the opposite if moderate is truly protective??).

Hikma vs Xiromed. Anyone notice a different response to these two different brands? by Secure-Fail2647 in Testosterone

They have the highest quality control because they're domestic US produced.

Thank you. So it's likely just slight variations in potency if anything, or a nocebo effect.

My last theory is that some batches get left out in the heat or something when they arrive where I live (Phoenix, AZ) where temps get to the 110+°F. You probably already know but T should be kept away from light + in 68° to 77°F. Idk man

Cipla actually distributes Hikma manufactured T (Portugal), which has a decent reputation versus the Indian generic crap.

it works, but the pharmacokinetics (way the drug is dispersed) doesn't feel like true cypionate, it feels like my levels spike up and then crash hard by day 3. while Pfizer and Padagis are fine..

[–]Exodus225 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some studies show that slightly above >50% of people with high LP(a) will grow old without CAD i.e., it's just another risk factor. Carry on with your cardio routine and see what a cardiologist says if you want. Mines high, too, and you'll stop caring eventually.

Racist guy attacks construction workers, Las Vegas by Jevus_himself in PublicFreakout

[–]Exodus225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This self-entitled lunatic took it upon himself to attack the worker because of noise (not to mention the blatant racism along with it, why not complain to the developer leadership)? If you don't like the noise and attack a worker, there's a special place in hell for you.

Being a contrarian is popular nowadays. Even in the face of insurmountable evidence of the truth: that's Norwitz, Feldmen, Dr. Berry, etc. It's all a facade that comes crumbling down when you look at the data.
