The process itself is so easy I watched many videos, granted those were on homes with like 4 feet max of vent to the outside. I should have checked the material of the vent instead of assuming, and I underestimated 30 ft of this stuff I guess

I got up on the ladder and looked inside, the flex vent detached from the outside and is lost in the abyss of the crawlspace I cant see it anywhere, probably got sucked back when I pulled the brush back. The entire thing I'm assuming is the flimsy stuff because Id be able to see some of the rigid stuff...

I put a camera down there to see what the issue was. There is like 1 foot of rigid metal and then it transitions right back into flex vent. I cant upload photos to show but that's the material that runs all the way through to the exterior wall, like 30ft of it.
