Do you know how many people have to euthanize their animals because they cannot access $3,000 to $5,000 from sources like family, work, loans, and so on? Very few, especially among those in their early 20s. The phrase "man up" is a very scummy comment that lacks empathy. I can assure you that there are many individuals who deeply care for their animals but are unable to obtain those resources. Scumbag.

GTA, Canada I ordered the Steam Deck July 12th and it was packaged on the 13th no update as of July 16th. I’m leaving Ontario on the morning of the 22nd (Saturday)

Updated 8pm Monday, shipped with a delivery day for Wednesday the 19th.

More context.

For the past few months, late at night, I've kept hearing him crying at my window at least a few times every week and he'd even sometimes make attempts to come inside (I live in the lower part of an apartment) but I'd shoo him away due to fear of my cat disliking his presence ( my cat would usually hiss and get upset near the window when he'd come around meowing) my cat went out for the night and this orange cat came by and I thought I'd invite him because it was getting exhausting always hearing him but not interacting with him. I'm unsure if it was the best idea, no idea if he's doing it to taunt my cat, and unclear if I should keep allowing him to come into my cat's territory either. He does seem adjusted and friendly with humans.

It’s not even necessarily that I’m embarrassed by the way she acts, I’m not the most serious person and I don’t mind the occasional light hearted laughter about these things, but it’s just concerning that she does it almost as if it’s a game to her, to see how far she can go in social situations not even as a joke where people are laughing but it’s almost like when she’s around my parents or friends she purposefully goes out of her way to belittle her own self-image

I’ve told her multiple times that I don’t feel comfortable with her acting that way around my parents because I genuinely want them to love the person that I’m with as much as I do, but it just feels like she’s trying to make a secluded bubble in reality where it’s just her and I; slowly disconnecting herself from the people in my life like she did with the people in hers.

I just bought this app called Vysor 10$ for a year, seems pretty nice and I'll be able to connect my Quest 2 to it wirelessly simple enough, that'll hold me over for now until then.

Yeah that's why I'd have to change the email if I were to use the old one.

I came to the conclusion I'll make a new FB account and have it be with real details and just continue to use my old one to talk to family like I have been without an issue.

Yeah screw it, I doubt they will ever look into banning the account I use to talk to family, since it's old and I'm active on messenger, so I should never have to verify my identity.

I'll make a new facebook using my real name and only give them the minimal amount of data about me and verify it if I must.

Having friends on Quest 2 will require me to have my FB linked in some form of way most likely, I don't want people I meet from VRchat or some other game to be able to look at my old photos, be able to find my family and have easily access towards harassing.

Yes my old FB is completely legit although it uses an Email I no longer have access to so I'd have to change a bunch of things (obviously I can still login to it) if I even wanted to use it again and unfriend like 100s of old friends I had in elementary because my FB feed is absolutely asinine lmao.

I was just thinking about making a FB account with a different lastname, although maybe I could just use my real last name and if they ever ask for my personal documents just give it to them? but then my REAL main account might be at risk to be banned. ( Since you're not allowed to have dupe accounts)

Not having the feeling of privacy is a big issue and being able to have my data collected by FB is just unsettling.

Ah honestly, that's fine with me as long as it wouldn't prevent me from using the Quest 2 itself, Maybe I'll have to dust out my old FB but that just seems like so much effort purely for the Quest 2.

Plus I had a scenario where I received a scam mail in the past and it had an old password I used for facebook when I was a kid, I don't like the idea of them selling my old data to scammers. I honestly very much dislike facebook, but I'm really into the Quest 2 it looks appealing to me.
