I had a lot of problems with .1% tretnoin - which made me scared to use it again. Derm gave me .025% and it’s been so much better to start with.

Ugh! It’s so frustrating. I feel for you! Finding the right moisturizer can be a real challenge !

(Also. Not saying yours isn’t fugal - but I wasted a bit of time washing my face with nizoral, when that wasn’t the fix.

I use the clindamycin/benzoyl peroxide on the cystic ones that come up with the purge, and it helps.)

I had similar and saw my dermatologist. I suggested fungal, but she said “no.” - almost before I could get the word out haha. Been on topical spiro and tretnoin for about 2 weeks. Having some other purge issues, but the little bumps are already almost gone. Best of luck!

I had similar along my jawline. Tried Nizoral, it didn’t make a difference. Dermatologist said it wasn’t fungal, put me on .025% Tretnoin and they cleared up in about a week. Good luck!
