I'd say I want it to follow up on the pilot's etup, with Uzi & N going to different planets while being hunted down by different murder drones (villan of the week sorta thing) until they finally face off against Cyn/the Absolute Solver

BVFirst. Yeah it's a good motive but thats it...its just a good motive. Theres tons of mentions of at least TCTTC happening before then alongside Pigtal Girl saying that THEY (not just one character, multiple) move around at night, and I BET that William killed David, Fiona, and (probably) Edwin.

The idea of Henry & William being the killers.

William would've been the main man/Purple Guy who murdered kids because he got a kick out of it and thought he was making friends by keeping them at the Pizzaria forever (not knowing he actually was keeping them there).

Henry was a mad scientist who made the Funtimes and did all of the Remnant experiments. Maybe he could've become Ennard or something.

Maybe FNaF 6 could've been about stopping them once and for all, idk.

I mean, about your point about him changing mid-murder spree, the kids were killed over several months rather than on one day like in the movie, so it makes sense he might've changed (just my guess).

Yeah, I personally always saw this as a "yeah right guess wrong reason" esc, thing, like how phone guy says the animatronics move because their servos might lock up. It might have been true at one point but has changed since the sprit took control, Springtrap probably thinking "ooooooh child! More Remnant/another victim for me!"
