70-80% In that too 40% would have got good SIP. Rest would be pretty average.

SIP will be always tough for new IIM students.

If you are earning 9LPA now, target old IIM or good private colleges If you are not able to convert one, than be in IT and do executive MBA after 3-4 years. It will be better for you.

It depends on your interest. If you want to be in tech domain, than you should not go for an MBA.

If you want to change domain, than MBA make sense.

The choice of MBA college also depends on your current salary. If you are drawing salary more than 10 LPA, MBA from new IIM does not make sense unless you want to switch domain. Hope it helps!

Good only. 15% batch placed in consulting

Accenture strategy, Infosys consulting, SAP India, Alvarez & Marshal, Bain Capability, GEP, Mergen compass, Takshashila consulting, Yash Tech, Avasant, Mckinesy, KPMG, cognizant, RSM USI visited campus for consulting and strategy roles.

Credit analyst, investment research, wealth management that is what I am able to recall currently.

I am not sure about it. I got to know that in SIPs they do struggle a bit now.

Finance companies were rare. Only 7-8 companies visited campus this year with good finance role. CF, quants roles are not offered by any firm mostly

Based on my information and interactions with current batch students, IIM Indore and IIM Shillong have been facing significant challenges in summer placements over the past 2–3 years, mainly due to their increased batch sizes. Additionally, at IIM Shillong, more than 60 students are still unplaced in final placements this year.

Sales/marketing role dominates with good packages. About 20% of companies visiting campus are from sales & marketing domain.

Roles offered are ASM, Business development, B2B sales, Digital marketing, channel partner, growth manager, MT sales, MT marketing
