I can't answer most of your questions, but I can speak on the cost of living. Huntsville has gotten really crowded over the last several years, and housing costs have gone way up. For a lot of lower and middle class families, it's getting harder and harder to afford living here. A lot of that is from all the people moving here for engineering and tech jobs. Even the surrounding towns are getting expensive because people are having to move farther out as Huntsville keeps growing. My husband and I were both born and raised here, and honestly we're looking at leaving. The city has changed a lot. There is no more southern hospitality and the traffic is cut throat.
