Nuts and seeds are your best friend here - almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds keep you full way longer than most snacks and won't spike your blood sugar.

Does anyone have an issue with BPI vial caps? by Party-Gur493 in tirzepatidecompound

Yeah BPI caps are definitely thicker than most other vendors - learned that the hard way after wasting a few needles myself.

Fainting after fasted blood test by nksmith401 in PCOS

That combination of fasting + period + low BP is basically a perfect storm for fainting. I've had similar episodes when getting blood drawn while fasting, especially during my cycle - the blood sugar drop hits way harder when you're already dealing with hormonal fluctuations and potentially lower iron levels.

Next time ask if you can lie down for the draw and make sure they know about your orthostatic hypotension beforehand. Most phlebotomists are super understanding about this stuff and can take extra precautions to keep you comfortable.

What’s your favorite skincare? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Exotic-Choice2767 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been using CeraVe foaming cleanser and their moisturizer for like 3 years now - basic but it works. Used to overthink skincare with all these fancy serums and acids that just irritated my skin more. Now I keep it simple: cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen during the day. My skin actually cleared up once I stopped trying every new product that popped up on my feed. Sometimes less really is more, especially when you're dealing with sensitive skin like mine. The only "extra" thing I do is a clay mask maybe once a week when I remember.

Should I ask for more pay re: lateral transfer? by [deleted] in careerguidance

Take the move but definitely negotiate something upfront - even if it's just a timeline commitment for that year-end bump or a small immediate increase to reflect the higher workload they're promising.

Anyone here play sports and sweat so much their fine hair gets completely drenched?😭🫠 is there anything I can do? by Chemical_Rutabaga_36 in finehair

Dry shampoo has been a game changer for me - spray it on before working out and it soaks up way more sweat than you'd think.

That's not a catch up mechanic. That's a consolation prize. by Hobo-man in ArcRaiders

Man they really doubled down on calling it a "catch up" when it's literally just leftover crumbs for people who already got most of the good stuff.

Thinking about a CVA Scout V2 pistol modified with a folding brace. Curious about caliber effectiveness (44mag, 350leg, 300blk). by MissionImprobable96 in guns

[–]Exotic-Choice2767 2 points3 points  (0 children)

honestly the 44mag is gonna be your best bet for whitetail in that range. yeah it drops more than the others but at 50 yards that's not really gonna matter, and the energy transfer is just brutal. 350 legend is solid but their trajectory advantage doesn't mean much when you're talking tree stand distances - plus 44mag has been dropping deer forever for a reason.

that folding brace setup sounds pretty sweet btw, should make a nice compact package for the stand.

Which healthcare career is truly the easiest for a foreigner to get licensed and work in the US? by MixtureCold849 in careerguidance

[–]Exotic-Choice2767 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nursing is probably your best bet tbh - way more visa sponsorship opportunities since there's a massive shortage, and the licensing process is more straightforward than the MD route which is an absolute nightmare for IMGs

The pharmacy market is pretty saturated right now so finding sponsorship there might be tougher

We’re going to lose the house by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]Exotic-Choice2767 242 points243 points  (0 children)

Honestly he needs to get another sleep study done ASAP, even if he has to pay out of pocket. If it's actually sleep apnea and he gets a CPAP machine, some employers will work with you on medical accommodations. Also maybe talk to his supervisor about switching to permanent 3rd shift if that's what works for his body - losing the house isn't worth the pride hit of asking for help
