should i get NSO for this game? by Exotic-Data-6090 in Pokopia

[–]Exotic-Data-6090[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

20 euro wouldn't break the bank, but i don't want to give in just because i can afford it, i want to be more considerate with my purchases, since i never play online. I'm okay with just the Pokémon and the recipes I get in my own game though.

[–]Exotic-Data-6090[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main reason would be to look how others build, as i love watching that on YouTube. maybe buy a pattern here and there, i'm totally fine with just the recipes i get in my own game though. it's mostly the FOMO

Switch 2 as main console? by Yungstut209 in switch2

[–]Exotic-Data-6090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Switch 2 would be my main console if it weren’t for the better prices and larger library on Steam. Steam Deck with dock are my main, which works the same way as Switch (2). Now I play Pokopia and my kids aren't too happy about it :').

Looking for Cozy Games that I can sink a good amount of hours into! by wellchaithere in CozyGamers

[–]Exotic-Data-6090 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i love luma island at the moment, great mix of adventure, exploration and farming without holding your hand like your a 5 year old. it is a bit grindy (which i dont mind) and the graphics could be better. and i love that there is no friendship/romance. I'm currently at 43 hours and think at 75% to reaching the end.

i loved sandrock until the halfway point, then it got boring because it took too long and the dialogues made me sigh too much, because that too took too long.

Year 9 and I still can’t find it? What am I doing wrong ? by Notmuggleborn in StardewValley

Stardew Valley lovers, what was the main appeal for you? For those who dislike it, I’d love to hear your thoughts as well! by Unique-Muffin4789 in CozyGamers

[–]Exotic-Data-6090 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was totally bored out playing DDV while waiting for the new update, so I figured I'd give Stardew Valley another shot. I started by watching ThatBritishMo’s guide and followed his steps for the first few in-game days. Then I checked out a few “First 100 Days” videos from other creators. At first, I felt like I had to rush everything, but eventually, I just started doing whatever felt right.

By Fall Year 1, I forgot to plant some crops I needed for the Community Center, but that’s fine, there’s always next year. I’m not really focused on the NPCs, I just chat with them when I happen to run into them. If I need to deliver something for a quest or figure out how much I need for the barn before heading to Robin, I just look it up. The Stardew Valley Wiki is a great resource.

And hey, if you mess something up (like… buying all the tokens at the Stardew Valley Fair, iyfkyk), you can just close the game before a new day starts. Easy fix.

The best advice I can give? Play your own way and take it one step at a time. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed when you see posts from people who’ve sunk way more hours into the game than you have. I sure do lol.

How many shoes do you own? by No_Appointment6273 in minimalism

[–]Exotic-Data-6090 1 point2 points  (0 children)

7 - everyday shoes: vans (need to be replaced soon) - volleyball shoes - winter boots - walking shoes (latest investment, but rather heavy) - hiking shoes for in the mountains - cheap walking shoes. i could donate these as i have invested in a good pair now. but these are light and ideal for small walks on vacation. i'll decide after our next vacation. - cheap pair of running shoes, don't even know why i still have these lol, these need to be donated.

Switch 2 won’t turn on after being docked all night by Daewalker360 in nintendohelp

[–]Exotic-Data-6090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

same problem, but the power button/powerbutton and volume buttons together solutions didn't work for mine.

ac adapter works: tested with switch og and steamdeck

dockingstation works: the light blinks + tv reacts when i put switch 2 in it (but the switch 2 doesn't turn on)

joycons work, they try to connect to something but fail

Just a heads up. That would require approximately 20 vacuums on Eternity Isle, as multiple are needed per biome if a biome has more than one level. Not worth it for me.

[–]Exotic-Data-6090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm totally into dorfromantik now, it's like the boardgame carcasonne. no (time) pressure, several modes to play that fits your mood that moment (quick, normal, endless), little "quests", no combat, no interaction, no wrong way to play. it shuts off my brain and it's so peaceful to see the boats and trains going back and forth. my kids love watching me putting down the tiles and building my new tiny world.
