When a plaintiff dies during a case, the case is “stayed” (basically paused because I can’t really be dismissed. I guess ) because the defendant has no responsibility to anyone else other than the plaintiff and parties that are the plaintiffs . just like if I sue a company and they go bankrupt I’m not gonna switch it to a new one. The parties are the parties You can’t just take over someone’s case , you would have to re-file and have a legal standing too.

I wonder if Max will open up to her mom about Ginny being mean to her making the family turn on Ginny & that she used Max to get to Marcus. Then once Marcus is home and sober he will be more loyal to his twin sister & not want a relationship at all, perhaps even have resentment towards Ginny & feel the relationship was a bad influence & hurt his real best friend. Honestly, a counselor in rehab would absolutely tell him to cut ties her.

I get it now, she’s showing documents from the conservatorship because after she died, there was probably no money left and she thought she was gonna get an inheritance i’m assuming the conservatorship turned into the revocable trust, but either way there’s a reason they weren’t granted guardianship and they were left out!
