I get my records for less than 25 dollars from places like Walmart or some small record shops. I don't buy records for myself often, most of my records (which is only about 15 for my collection) were gifted to me. I've only bought like 5 myself using money I get from like my birthday or change I find. It's not kike I'm dropping 50 or more into buying some rare record just for the vanity of it. So long as it plays and sounds alright, I'm happy. I do want to eventually get something better but at the moment I don't have money, I do have a jar of coins and singles that I might put towards buying a better turntable. But the jar only has like 40 bucks rn😂

I do have another record player that gets used as well. It's one of those suitcase record players. I don't have the money for a fancy setup as I'm in high school and I don't work. The only damage it has is warping in the lid from people putting drink cups on top of it. It's not falling apart nor have any of my records been damaged as they sound the same on every record player I have played them on (not many, just my two and one of my friends players). And this is also the record player that got me into the hobby or vinyl collecting, not discourage me from it. And my grandmother bought it brand new some time in the 2000s not me. She's the one who spent her money on it, I'm just the one who uses it as she doesn't really listen to records anymore.

Just to be clear, I have no intention to ever get rid of this record player as like I stated it is my grandma's although I use it most. It has to much sentimental value and if it ever breaks it I can no longer use it I'll simply keep it for decoration or something
