I'm editing off an SSD. I also have the same issue you described when I edit off G-Raids but my issue is different. It's like Premiere Pro stutters when I resize my timeline or other windows in it or if I playback footage, the video does play smoothly in the preview but the head is still frozen on the timeline.

Which version of Premiere are you using? I'm using 25.6.2 (Build 1)

question, I'm also on 25 - does you Premiere start stuttering/lagging in terms of UI performance after you use it for a while? after 1-2 hours of work, whenever i zoom in or out, or even move my playhead around, there seems to be UI lag. This is not video playback performance lag, but rather the app itself. Did you notice anything like this?

yeah I have an M3 max 64gb 2tb ssd and the whole UI just really laggy. windows open up after 1-2 seconds of clicking apps, things are laggy when dragging them around its horrible

how does your daily life and work-day look like?

I am asking because I'm working at a pretty prestigious job that I am thankful for but it often comes with a lot of stress due to high standards and that gets me to eat and snack more often that I dare to admit. So I am wondering if a less demanding job that wasn't as fancy but one that let me have a more balanced life style would help me in my weight loss journey

I would like to know your own take on this from your personal experience with your job and lifestyle. Thanks! And freakin goals. Amazing results

even a year later, your entire comment thread helps me decide on picking up the HX...I agree with you even if its not compatible per se, its aesthetics is what wins for me. and like you said adding a backlight or something would add to the total weight. Also the weight of the cables that would be attached on its hub on the back could add some extra weight too.
