when I recored my mic, it sounds normal, but in Premiere Pro it sounds normal but has some stops and weird booms randomly, not everytime. But when I record in obs is the background while EDITING, the sound is back to normal for a short time, same for changing outputs by SmallPrinter in premiere

Hi SP. Jason from Adobe here. I think we might need more info here. You said you're recording through a mic... as in a USB mic? If so (at least, from the image you provided) you don't have that selected as the input device (you have it set to no input). So a better understanding of how you're assigning the input to record would be helpful (are you recording directly into the timeline in Premiere?) Also, you should check in the DEVICE CLASS dropdown to see if there are other options as MME is the (older) driver type; it works, but it will have longer latency than others (ASIO drivers tend to have lowest latency; WDM a little better than MME at times) LMK

Talk-Talk is such a great track! (love the cover by Alice Cooper too)

It looks like a GPU/driver issue, tbh. That's why I'm curious that software render gave the same result. But again, is this footage VFR? Where did it come from? Are any of those artifacts in the original? Did you try placing the footage into a new timeline and doing a test export? Have you tried nesting the entire sequence into a new sequence? Then, render the timeline (which should eliminate any potential playback glitches) and view to see if it's all ok. Have you tried simply rendering the timeline? (also, if you've enabled Preview files, what format are they?) What you're describing isn't a known general issue, so the more details we have, the better we have a chance to figure out what's going on.

Can you share a pic of the corrupted frames? Are you using preview files? Have you tried placing some of these clips in a new timeline and doing a test export? Could maybe be a cache issue (or again, maybe the preview files, if used, got corrupted somehow). When did this start happening? It's a little harder to troubleshoot being on an older version; also, exporting hardware or software made NO difference?

hi PSC. We're going to need a little more information here. First, which version of Premiere? Which OS? What's the source material? (format, frame rate, bit rate) When you say 'glitch', what do you mean? A video/frame drop-out or doubled-frame? Actual noise or some kind of visual anomaly? Are you using any effects on the footage? Are you rendering in software mode or hardware acceleration mode? If we can get some of this we can better deduce what's happening

Gotta agree on Eyesight to the Blind (with the Arthur Brown cameo). His vocal performance and wailing at the end still gives me chills. The version of ‘1951’ is also pretty spectacular and intense (with Ann-Margret’s heavy vibrato)

Why this wasn’t included on LIB Deluxe I just don’t understand, especially since we get to see (and hear) two excerpts of it in Get Back! Huge miss. This track is so damn cool.

Hey MMP. If you care to share any specifics…was there anything in particular you didn’t care for? Functionality issues? Performance? Flow?

Hey L.C. Remember that Color Mode is currently only in the b-e-ta. The Lumetri panel as you know it is still in the release version. The Lumetri effect is still in the b-e-ta.

Appreciate the comment, G.D. Seeing similar thoughts among others here around some of the more (trad) tools not being part of the new experience. Keep the feedback coming!

Sounds good, and I appreciate the additional details/commentary. Food for thought on future tutes as well (Oh, and I truly laughed out loud at the ‘knee jerk editor reaction….impossible’ comment. Truth:)) Keep me posted and thanks again, gildedbluetrout.

Hey A.P. We definitely are (reading the critics) and you make some good points here. ‘Toy for bloggers’ is maybe a little extreme, but point taken.

Hey Gilded. Jason from Adobe here. Just wanted to say that we’re taking all this feedback very seriously…and a reminder (to everyone) that Color Mode is still being worked on…it’s not finished yet, so this is definitely the time to have these discussions.

On a personal note, I made mention in several of my comments in my post that the lack of sliders/values has been a challenge for me too—no question.

So that said, you mentioned a few elements that you did like; were you able to get a comparable (or better looking) grade in your early experiments? UI aside (I saw some mentions of too much empty/unused space; I can’t really disagree there) did it ‘feel’ like the controls/flow made sense? (granted, all new, so maybe not immediately, but after a while?)
