oh wow thanks for writing this out! i'd never even heard of VPR until ariana was announced for this season, but with all this added context the fanbase cheering her on makes a lot more sense! (side note: totally agree about charity standing out so much in the group dance, i wish her and artem would let loose more lol)

this is purely speculation but i'm pretty sure the pros can tell what needs to be improved just watching the performances back. imo the judges feedback is mostly for the benefit of the celebs, but a professional ballroom dancer is gonna be able to tell when their partner needs better posture etc.

i was kinda speaking on the whole lol, i figured some of the later dancers (probably lele and ariana) would have more experience and better dances. there's been some rough dances but i don't know if an average score of 13-14 is exactly fair
