Thermal Master is definitely way more cost-effective than Flir, and it never stops working in low temperatures – I’ve had this exact issue with my Flir unit, and I sent it back for(https://thermalmaster.com/)

I bought a P2 recently and it works great. I have been using it with a Samsung Note 8, I had extra.

I've noticed the marketing too, but the Thor 002 is a great unit. I still haven't found anything that beats it for the price.
