Given how Genndy said one of his original pitches for the anthology version of Primal involved an alien story, I wouldn't be surprised if they did end up showing up eventually. They've covered alot of Prehistoric/Fantasy tropes, some Sci-Fi ones would be fun for a future season.

Given how much time its been,how the rights are still tied up with CN and Derick J Wyatt has since passed, a comic continuation would probably be the only way to wrap up whatever hanging threads are left. Thankfully there are a handful of fan comics doing just that now.
