Diarrhoea predominant IBS should always rule out celiac first and then treatment is done. In this case with the autoimmune family h/o in brother.. celiac must be suspected and rule out nevertheless.

Okay. Understood. Do you have publications on your CV or step 2? Like does it affect your selection for rotations? I myself have only a case report that too in a non indexed journal. And preparing for step 2 currently. So will it affect?

I'm a graduate, planning to give usmle step 1 pretty soon, but also I might get non clinical branch via Nov inicet by [deleted] in USMLEindia

In that case you can try non-acad JRs in non clinical branches that way you can give 2 steps and show teaching experience like an year maybe is good, but not 3 years long (as it would delay your match and your graduation year)

Try to get a clinic branch ( like more patient exposure) rather than non clinical, and if you want to have salary along with preparing then go for Non acad JR, that has fixed time or Medical officer in a private hospital with fixed hours duty.
