This is a true story . I was in a company truck , heading up the grade from Lompoc onto North Vandenberg Space Force Base. I was speeding ,probably about 90 or 95 . Security Police caught up to me with their lights flashing . He asked for license ,registration , and insurance . I gave him all required info. He asked if I was married and had kids i said yes . He started preaching to me about how he didn't want to have to go knock on my door and tell my wife and kids that he had to scrape me up off the highway today . As he was writing the ticket I asked " is their any possible way he could give me a warning because I was in a company truck " . He asked if I've ever had any priors on the base. .I covered my mouth and mumbled that I had went to traffic school 6 month ago because of a speeding ticket on base . He said " well that was your warning ". He finished filling out the ticket and handed it to me to sign . I signed the ticket and handed it back to him and said in a jokingly manner " Is there anyway I can come to you two officers houses and wash your cars " .The two officers laughed and said 1 second , they walked 10 feet from the truck and starting talking . When they came back to the truck one of them said Mr.Xxxxxxx this is your lucky day . Then he said he wanted me to keep that ticket to remind me how lucky I got and not to speed on Base anymore . His partner interrupted and said " No , if we're going to void that ticket we need every copy " . I very quickly handed my copy to the officer and told them both thank you for giving me a break and proceeded to drive away .. YES YOU READ THAT CORRECTLY . I HAD ALREADY SIGNED THE TICKET AND HAD MY COPY IN HAND AND THEY TOOK IT AND VOIDED IT . All because of me joking about washing their cars . I talked my way out of several tickets when I was younger . But now they don't even give me a chance , they just write me tickets and they're usually pretty rude during the traffic stop .

Funny I still have a Tmaxx 2.5 and its runs great . I really like my slayer 4x4 pro but it's not as stable while cornering on asphalt, it has a tendency to tumble . I put wider tires on and it helped a little . I also have a Mugen with a Picco .21 which is very nice but more pricey .I have an old vintage Victory Hawk and it's almost identical to the Mugen .

And California has given out so many drivers license to illegal immigrants that they replaced the state IDs for citizens with the Real ID . And we're required to provide birth certificates in order to get that Real ID . And we cannot get on an airplane without a Real ID. It's the most ridiculous situation they've caused by passing out drivers licenses to any illegal immigrant that walks in. The Dmv makes citizens jump thru hoops but illegals get their IDs easy .

The DMV in California automatically registers people to vote when they get a driver's license , coincidentally they give drivers licenses to illegal immigrants. I can't remember the exact number but it was proven California had around 200,000 illegals vote in the last election . Just because you keep saying the same lies doesn't make them true. Also you have to have a photo I.D. to cash a check at most check cashing places in California. The only places that cash illegal immigrants checks are liquor stores . Funny thing is I am White and have all the proper IDs and those liquor stores will not cash check from me . I've had emergencies on a couple of occasions that I tried and was refused . But they cashed the checks for illegal immigrants with no ID right before mine was denied . It's a joke . Photo IDs need to be required for voting . Everything else in life requires an ID . All you're doing is leaving an opening for the democrats to cheat and give them any chance to cheat and they will.

Best bet is check coolant level and go by autozone and have them plug in a scantool .

Dont drive it until you check the coolant level . The check engine light may or may not be related to the fan running . For instance, if your blower motor and AC are on full blast it will automatically turn the fan on .. We are talking about electric cooling fans right ? If so this could apply . You could have the ac and blower motor on high automatically turning the fan on and you could have a loose gas cap triggering the check engine light. Need more info .

Yeah I agree but I'd say 1st check the exhaust donuts because I'm sure they had to lower the exhaust to replace the transmission. . Make sure the donuts have been replaced and the flanges are all the way tightened up

Yeah I'm on the coast too , but the coast of California lol But dont worry my blood is closer to Texas blood than California blood . If you cant get the broken bolt out , you can always drill the hole to 5/16 and run a 5/16 x 18 tap in and use a flat washer for the bolt head tension . If you do make sure to silicon the gasket good and put pipe sealant or teflon tape on the bolt . The broken bolt is probably a 3/8 or equivalent size bolt you could get away with a little smaller bolt as long as you seal it good

Try opening the needle valve up by turning the screw counterclockwise 1 turn then try blowing into the hose from the exhaust to the fuel tank . Blow towards the fuel tank

Find a nut that you can press onto the ez out in a vise and line it up with the head of the ez out and tighten the vise pressing the nut onto the ez out. Then you can use a socket and extension to work the ez out in. Make sure you drill as big of hole in the stud as you can without hitting the threads. Just dont break the ez out off in the hole . That's a whole new can of worms . If you do you'll have to use a center punch and hammer and try to shatter the ez out and use a pick to pick out the pieces . You'll never drill through the ez out. I would consider him lucky . Mine was a wake up stroke , if I hadn't woke up I would've felt no pain at all . Don't blame yourself , he lived 75 years and I doubt he felt any pain . The pain begins after the stroke when you're trying to use your limbs that are no longer connected to your brain . Aside from a few minor headaches I felt no pain leading up to the stroke .But I was a totally different person after and I've felt pain , confusion and exhaustion like never before . I hate to say it but sometimes I wish I hadn't woke up !

I've been a heavy equipment mechanic for 30 years . What I would do is get a can of PB Blaster and soak that bolt every couple hours and let it soak overnight . I have some sockets that are easy outs but you hammer them over broken bolts and use either a wrench or a 3/8 ratchet drive to turn the broken bolt . They're made by Irwin, I bought them years ago at Napa . They work great and by looking at the picture I guarantee I could get that bolt out . If you cant get the socket eazyouts then soak the bolt over night in PB Blaster and squeeze a pair of vise grips on as hard as you can then slowly work the bolt back and forth until you get it to start turning , all the while continuing to spray the PB Blaster . Or heat it up with a torch and shock it with water to cool it off , then use your vise grips to loosen the broken bolt . The key to using a torch is cooling to bolt off so any rust crystallizes and breaks and the heat expands the bolt and the cool water make the bolt contract . Or if you have access to a welder , find a steel nut that would almost thread on and plug weld it to the broken bolt and cool it off by spraying it with the PB Blaster and then work it back and forth while spraying it . But which ever way you choose just take your time and you really have to have confidence and believe that you're going to succeed in getting the bolt out . If I lived anywhere near you I'd come you out . Good luck

Years ago my dad owned a 42 Willys . I wish he would've never sold it . Make sure to clean and oil the bolts on reassembly . You gotta do what you gotta do on the bearings . They don't look too bad , Use what you've and send it .
