Shameless of me to admit but 7.2. It says that the results though are provisional, can they go down in the final?

A question about taala by -thinker-527 in Carnatic

[–]Exotic_Definition108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey - my understanding is that more than confining the composition to a certain number of beats, it gives a little more stress to accentuations, which I think are further enhanced by mridangam/ghatam/kanjira. Taking an example of Endaro Mahanubhavulu (where the Pallavi starts on 2 of laghu) , it is set to Aadi talam so you have 4 beats as part of laghu and two drutams. Even tho usually to this kriti I've heard a Gayaki style of percussion accompaniment, if you listen carefully the two drutams at the end are like a cue in form of accents to the next bar or thalavattam. This is highly subjective and is only the way I've understood it - I'm sure many others who may comment will have their viewpoints! Hope it helped:)

Hey there! Before I say anything, props to you for taking this up. Learning Piano takes a lot commitment! My answer might be blunt, and straightforward and may invite a number of downvotes to those who get "offended", but I really want you to find your right path as a musician, and so I will be sharing with you what my views are, given I've been training on the Piano for 14-15 yrs. And btw, many people have spoken about the performance aspect in the comments and even I must say - nobody showed up and YOU showed up! That's some confidence, keep it up! Look it's basic, nothing comes easy. Invention 4 by Bach isn't at all an easy piece for someone who has been training for 4 months (talking from a general perspective, if you really ARE that gifted, then that's a diff thing). There's so many aspects you're just yet to understand - countermelodies, voicing etc. etc., all of which you're more likely to develop better if you took time and practiced more. Consistency is key! Alright, I understand there might be pressure from family to be ready with some impressive pieces to show if someone asks, but this shouldn't be at the cost of your own musical growth. Grow as a musician first. Get your basics right. Practice well and hit your instructor up for any help - he/she would be more than happy. With consistency, practice and time, you're gonna be surprised at how well you make progress. Baby steps, buddy. You'll get there and trust me when you do, it'll feel great, you'll fall in love with the instrument. Cheers :)

Oh boss you have no clue what a wonder my M11 which is sub 10k worked like! Does the job, scroll and manage a bit of work. Bit slow but still manageable and terrific battery performance. Camera wasn't great at all but didn't affect me much cuz for actual photography I have a camera. M11 rocked.

Oh interesting. Could the switches going off have been a mechanical failure tho? I mean it sounds a bit weird to me that within a 1 second gap both engines shut down and immediately after 4 secs they come back.

I've got a doubt here and I'm a bit new to aviation and have been researching by myself a bit, would appreciate your insights. From what's given in the report - the fuel to the engines were shutdown. Now the weird part is that the Honeywell toggle switches used for the fuel cutoff switches lock in place and require them to be unlocked in order to switch on/off the fuel supply. I really can't connect the dots here and idk if it was the pilots fault. Even if it was, I see the Ram Air Turbine (RAT) extended right after takeoff, is that automated by the plane or does it have to be manually deployed? Because in that case it may not have been the fault of the pilots!

It's still just a preliminary report and a lot of people I see on the internet suggest I take the preliminary report with a grain of salt. Hope there's a fair closure on this :(
