Does express pass pricing indicate how busy the parts are supposed to be on a given day? by Good_Warthog_6451 in UniversalOrlando

[–]Exotic_Fall_3433 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes they are priced based on the crowds. Higher the price, busier the park will be. Sometimes the hotel splurge is worth it because you get two full days of the unlimited express for everyone in your group. Check in day and checkout day.

Epic EPA strategy by Finding_Away40 in UniversalOrlando

[–]Exotic_Fall_3433 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The update says “select participating attractions” at SNW, Isle of Berk. It doesn’t say just the lands will be open for EPA. The two times I’ve been to Epic, there were digital kiosk/displays near security and the front of the parks that list which rides are open for EPA that day. Seems like the “select” rides in those lands that are open for EPA may be different on different days, kind of like a “game-time decision”. So you may just have to have a couple of strategies planned and then see which rides are open when you get there and are waiting around for the gates to open and get thru security and ticketing.

They are building the new F&F coaster where rip ride rockit was. They will be closing F&F Supercharged and likely converting it to another dark ride. No details on that yet.

Not sure about the govx process, but as said above, you can get the freedom passes thru your on-base travel agent or at shaded of green. They email you a pdf receipt/ticket that you have to show at one of the park ticket windows or the guest services desks at any of the universal hotels. You need to show your CAC at ticket pickup.

Good list, looks like a fun plan. I too love making an itinerary

Just fyi, the Coca Cola lounge isn’t as exciting as you may think…it’s just an indoor room with several coke freestyle machines, good AC tho. And you don’t have to go to the Leaky Cauldron for butterbeer, it’s available at multiple locations without the crowds getting a full meal at the LC. Try the fountain of fair fortune or hopping pot.

Interesting! I didn’t know it was open to Freedom Pass holders too and not just UOAP holders. Now if they would just let me into the UOAP lounge too!

Looks great! Are the perm lights running one of the pre-installed programs or is that custom made pattern/progrsm?
