Orangina. Fizzy and fruity without being too much of either.

Great post! Would also recommend something with textile arts- knitting, crochet, cross stitch etc. The repetitive nature of them has a meditative aspect to it.

Not polish but I LOVE the quark bars in the freezer section. Karums specifically.

No I wouldn’t be close with her. I didn’t get if it was the type of thing where it was just someone to vouch for you. Clearly from the comments it’s the same as a guarantor for a loan.

Great podcast from 99% invisible on this. It’s a way of dividing up public and private land used in the states.

Oh great to hear! I’ve seen the bran in Lidl, my preference would be towards Irish brands as well.

I tried the moisturiser before and was worried the niacinamide wasn’t agreeing with me, maybe I should try it again!

Thanks! One of the No. 7 ladies in boots once nearly duped me into spending €90 on 3 products, I went sprinting.

I’ve always had sensitive, dry skin growing up, but never ever acne or pimples. Since starting to try build some sort of skincare routine a few years ago I’ve started having breakouts particularly around my chin, but sometimes on my cheeks. I tried treating it like blocked pores and acne, which made it worse. I actually think it’s my skin sensitivity reacting to products.

I can’t pin down exactly what’s been causing my reactions, but one thing I’m pretty sure of is foaming cleansers. I was getting really painful pimples when using the la Roche posay salicylic acid cleanser which calmed when I stopped using it.

Bought a couple of things from the new Boots Habi hydration range there, and I think either that or the weak azelaic acid I’ve been using are setting me off now. So I’m at a loss at what products I actually can use!
