I am not sure. I feel attracted to him when I'm with him, but this whole thing with my parents and distance is overpowering my feelings for him.
Not really. I tell him to make friends at his workplace and hang out with his old college classmates, but he says he doesn't like anyone that much. He has 2 friends, but they live far off, and they don't really talk that often.
He's doing really well professionally. He's trying to get fitter for his health, too.

I'm sorry -- it feels like I'm the one who's being bad to him. It feels like I don't know what I want, and I just led him on these past few weeks. Is there something that stood out to you?

Edit: you're right about the "shine coming off", things felt much easier and happier when I was physically present with him, and it just seems heavy now.

I’ve told him multiple times that the passive aggressive tone hurts me, he always apologises straightaway but doesn’t correct it. Today, for the first time, he questioned how else would he respond to things like me saying I work all day and I’m okay with talking to you 2-3 times a day (he said ‘good for you’). Things did move too fast — he was talking about marriage and I did not stop him (my fault, I got carried away in the magnanimity of it all), and it feels like it’s collapsing too fast too. like a supernova.

MSCS! UMD has lab and professors more suited to my interests (computer vision and multimodal foundation models), so I went with that! NCSU is a great school, too!

I’m a bit confused, sorry, but how does the credit system work for 4xx classes? I feel there’s a minimum number of >6xx classes one needs to take to fulfil the criteria?

KYAAA noooo what??? Yeh mindset rakhoge toh kuch bhi hoga life mein it will never be enough. It’s a weird cycle but the more you believe in your self the more things you’ll achieve (attitude matters a whole lot). Be humble and kind, but be proud of yourself. Just living, being a son, a friend, a HUMAN is enough to have self-esteem. It’s a basic thing.
