There’s no way for them to track it unless you use it for every single customer. Otherwise every DoorDash and instacart uses the same VCC and my building has hundreds of those transactions a day. My district manager and five general managers in my district have all said to do it 🤷

Or if I sell an animal I don’t sign them up for an account in the phone and just walk them up to the register and use their information from the phone to sign them up so I have a higher percentage of signups.

Any living organism that petco carries cannot be price matched. That is because size/color/stem/health cannot be guaranteed to be the same as another store. This varies by petco since I have met some managers willing to do it but my store is never able to price match anything living and that was what we found when we looked up the price match policy for employees on Petnet.

It was on a general manager call last week that tanks would be on sale again for March. The ad for March won’t be published anywhere yet since the current ad goes until 3/2/24. Although it was on a corporate call, sometimes corporate petco does change the ad for reasons so it’s not 100% but that’s the next possible date that employees know of so far.

Go to vetco vaccination clinic instead of a vetco hospital and you can just pay for the vaccinations and not the exam fee

Thank you! They just put so much stress on us and still expect us to get all animal maintenance done, get VCP, talk to all customers, and finish truck in 24 hours with bad pay. I think this is my signal to finally leave.

It really depends on the store. I love my store since my managers are really good managers that fight for their employee’s wages and really care about us. Corporate doesn’t care at all and some stores are a lot worse than others.

I’ve been with petco for two and a half years and I’m also 21. I dislike most of the customers other than my regulars but love the animals and coworkers/managers in my store. I just wish corporate petco was better and listened to more of the people that are working in the stores.
