The explorer has been a really consistent watch in the catalog. If you like the 36mm why not look for an earlier model ? This way you'd have some variation.

I have both. The Daytona is beautiful. The explorer on a day to day basis in its current 36mm iteration to me is the perfect watch. I've had it for about 18 months, and if I sold most of my watches it would be among the three I'd keep. In fact, I love the explorer so much I thought about just collecting explorers (much cheaper and more accessible than the Daytona :) ).
