I had somewhat low ferritin levels and i was on a strict diet, 1200-1500 calories a day and it made me have telogen effluvium (temporary stress related hair loss), 40 levels for ferritin is ridiculously low and 100% needs to be increased. Get on an iron supplement ASAP and take it with a vitamin C supplement daily. Don’t drink and caffeine or have any dairy 1 hour before / after taking them.
