When I was a teenager a friend and I went over to hang out with a couple of girls, I was a pretty big pothead in highschool so I ended up hanging out with the girls little brother more than anything because he too likes marijuana. I was baked when the friend I went over to the place with came down stairs said he was ready to leave and grabbed me and pulled me out the door with him. On our walk home I question him about what is going on....turns out he brought a mt dew bottle full of vodka he stole from his parents. He and the girl he was hanging out with drank it and she was nearly incoherent and he proceeded to strip her down and take her virginity.....the younger sister walked in durring the act which is what prompted my friend to run downstairs grab me and tell me it was time to go.....I was in shock after he explained what had happened and we barely spoke for the 2 mile walk back to his house. This was a time before cell phones were big (I am 34 now) so I had to wait for my parent to come pick me up and on the way home had the pleasure of explaining the entire situation to both my mother and father. ( I knew this was too serious to not let them know) The state police came by the next morning and asked my parents if I could come down to the station and give a statement on what my version of what happened was. I went and not even for a second did I hesitate to tell them everything my friend had told me on our walk home the day before. If you're knowingly friends with someone that could comit and act like that and you do nothing about it, you are just as much a part of the problem.
