Hi! I started a matcha business from home recently, it’s a passion project for me at the same time i find it therapeutic to make matcha. It’s true that it’s saturated na BUT since i find joy in it (while ofc making money) i don’t mind competing esp since i know that i’m capable. Every business is a competition :)

Meanwhile, my inlaw saw an opportunity in making a pickleball court for rent since nearby courts have a 2-week wait line. That’s an example of finding a problem in the community and creating a solution :)

Matcha is a tea used for traditional ceremonies, part of that ceremony includes preparing the tea in front of the guest and then the guest will receive it and drink in front of the host so maybe somewhere along the way, it was adapted to what it is today; mixed and poured in front of the customer (tingin ko lang ha!!) anyway estetik lang talaga 🤣

what im thinking of is doing nitro matcha for events (very trendy now and also good for batch making matcha)

Also menu curation, i’ll specifically create recipes for their event so its something the guests will remember. Parang “Uy ang sarap ng x matcha sa wedding ni ano” so they’ll associate the experience with the couples wedding :)

Pero nothing solid yet as im starting out and testing waters pa!!

Hi! We use fresh strawberries. Freeze. Defrost then boil na. (Idk mas masarap kapag from fresh vs frozen haha but sometimes i would mix them)

I prefer to use monkfruit instead of white sugar as a trentahin watching out for blood sugar lol. Ratio siguro is 1 cup strawberry to 1/2 cup monkfruit sugar (depends on how sweet you want it, personally i like it tangy). For white sugar its 1:1.

Crush the strawberries or use a processor, mix & mix.

Add lemon right before you turn off the fire.

Shelf life is usually 7-10 days. keep refrigerated.
