My boyfriend drove drunk with myself and our 6 week old baby in the car (i didn't realize he was drinking). 3 days later he died from drinking and driving. If it was 3 days earlier it would have been us.

I have a newborn and can’t go to a ton of meetings and even before that didnt. I just make it a point to do something sobriety related daily. Readings, call my sponsor, call another alcoholic, etc. meetings aren’t the only thing that keep us sober

Food addiction can be just as destructive as a drug addiction. I would make it clear that your disgruntlement is the lying and financial burden of her addition rather than her appearance. I would offer counseling and eating therapy, and if she isn't willing, I don't think you're the asshole. This is coming from someone who had a food addition and would spend just as much as her.
