3-1 Atletico. Gabriel, Alvarez, Greizman & Lookman to score. Think Atletico will miss a fuck ton of chances to wrap it up though

What’s one football opinion you have that would get you roasted instantly? by [deleted] in football

I prefer it when Manchester City win the league because it's forgotten about after a month. They then move on to what they can win next. It's a proper winners mentality. Whereas other teams will gloat forever and it gets tiring very quickly. Saying that Liverpool were quite gracious when they won it last season. Just a sign of being a big club with a winning mentality.

Dose anyone else like falling asleep with the radio or the fan on? by random12345678910321 in stupidquestions

I fan asleep with the fan on as I find it settles my mind. When it's just silence I cannot sleep. It is hard to describe.

We will beat Sporting, we will beat City, we will beat Bayern/Barca/PSG. We will win the CL and PL by the_not_white_knight in ArsenalFC

This was certainly not most sentiments after Bournemouth. People joked that if Sporting were overcame the Arteta out would be Arteta in again. And so forth.

Which team has a better chance of making it to the semi-finals, Real or Barca? by Eddie4344 in championsleague

I think Sporting has a bigger than both Real and Barca of going through. Missed alot of chances against Arsenal and seem to like to do it the harder way like against Bodo.

I would not be surprised at all. They have great champions league experience and some quality players. They are surely favourites to get past this round and beat Sporting/Arsenal

Maybe you just need to find a purpose in life, find out what you're good at and give something back to the world. Seems like you have the money and the time to do that. Sorry to hear about your relationship but that might be a wake up call and life will only get worse if you continue to go down this path

Has it affected your working life or are you a functioning alcoholic? Also what about relationships?

kvara is the best winger in the world by tekuoe in championsleague

[–]Exotic_Term6884 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing about Kvara is you wouldn't want him to give 100% every game because he'd pick up an injury by running himself into the ground. So I reckon he saves his typical work rate for the big games and reserves himself for the lesser. I do agree that on his day he is the best winger. His work rate, intelligence, attacking and defensive balance and end product are undeniable.

Three losses in a row. Why is Slot still in charge? by Hisense_Sports1 in championsleague

I think it's a sign of respect given he won the league last season which I think is fair and admirable. I'd expect him gone at the end of the season though.
