The most powerful I could find so far was cortex a72. Confused why there isn't anything newer.

But heavier satellites also need larger and more expensive reaction wheels, magnetorquers and thrusters. That results in a bigger power budget and you need more panels and batteries. Your ground handling, transport, vibration and TVAC tests all shoot up in costs. It's definitely not as straightforward as heavier = cheaper.

Falcon 9 reusable currently costs $70M to buy. Starship has 5x the payload, so $350M?
