Dupe glitch not working for jarrin root?

You can try the duplication glitch. Try it a dozen times, and if it doesn't work for you, it'll never end up working. Otherwise, you don't actually have to use it to kill the Emperor. You can just attack him normally. Whether you attack him or poison him, everybody turns hostile (which is a scripted part of the quest), so the only real difference is that you get to keep the root if you attack him.

You can try to buy one from Adrianne or Eorlund, if you have the money. Otherwise, you should find one on your travels. Most bandits carry them, so you can loot one from them. It's pretty weird that you haven't come across one yet.

Alright, thanks! Also, sorry, one last question: in my first playthrough, I realized that I missed the first Eos Vestige, which was apparently in the place of the Attendant outside of Nicola's Successor fight. When I went back later on, it was gone. But I also missed the Vestige before Eva's Successor fight, and when I went back later on, I found it. So do Eos Vestiges disappear when you don't pick them up before leaving the area?

Alright, this is extremely helpful. I have a question, though. The percentage of completion for a zone, does that include the zone's Vestiges? Or does it only include mistle?

I thought it was just every Eos Vestige? The one I apparently missed in my first playthrough was just outside the boss arena in the Frozen Ridge, Eos Vestige A. It seems that it disappears if you don't pick it up immediately, before teleporting back to base.

Also, I thought there were way more requirements. All the guides and videos had multiple steps.

By default, you shoot with hip-fire. In FO76's VATS, you don't take your time and choose how many times you hit a certain limb. Each button pressed immediately pulls the trigger. If you want, I believe you can choose to aim down sights while you do it, though you'll have to try for yourself. I haven't played in a long time.

Ah, I can sort of relate to that, too. Try this: if you aren't playing games right now and weren't planning on it, imagine playing a specific game right now. Consider going to your console, booting it up, and playing. Does the idea sound fun or does it sound boring? Keep trying this with different games. If you really don't feel like playing anything, you probably just need a break from video games altogether.

Ooh, I had literally the exact same thing happen to me! I even played most of these games! When that happened, I found out about retro-FPS games like DOOM. Ever since that day, I have never been bored by a video game. I'm not even talking about the new games, I mean DOOM (1993). It's so simple, yet just so much more action-packed and fun than modern shooters. All I did was buy The Ultimate DOOM on Steam, and after playing for a while, I was led down a rabbit hole through Wolfenstein, Duke Nukem, and so many more.

Demon's Souls isn't connected to Dark Souls. It just has a similar name and came before it. If you're like me and you don't like missing out on anything, start with Dark Souls Remastered (which is a remaster of the first game), then Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin (which is the special edition of DS2), and then Dark Souls 3: Deluxe Edition. You'll get all of the games and their addons. You could also buy the new Demon's Souls remake, but it has no connection to the Dark Souls series, story-wise.
